Microsoft releases the Dynamics CRM/GP Adapter!

Do you have Microsoft Dynamics GP "and" Microsoft Dynamics CRM?  With the new adapter you can now have a seamless integration between the two programs.  Even better news, if you own licenses for both products, this adapter is available to you for FREE!

This month marks the release of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Adapter for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0.  The 12+ month development effort received tremendous praise from Beta customers and is the first of many Out of Box integrations Microsoft will provide amongst the Dynamics family (roadmap in place for CRM integrations to AX, NAV, and SL).

For more information on this adapter, contact Kyle at Webfortis!

Cross Entity Search for CRM Online

Searching across entities is a great feature. There is now an application that integrates with CRM Online to do this. You can enter a phone number, a last name, an account name, or opportunity topic and the application searches for the results. It will give you a list of return items. The edit button will open the record.  Read more here...

Phrase of the Month

kaizen
Kaizen, also known as continuous improvement, is a long-term approach to work that systematically seeks to achieve small, incremental changes in processes in order to improve efficiency and quality. Kaizen can be applied to any kind of work, but it is perhaps best known for being used in lean manufacturing and lean programming. If a work environment practices kaizen, continuous improvement is the responsibility of every worker, not just a selected few.

In Western civilization, kaizen is often broken down into four steps: assess, plan, implement and evaluate. In Western workplaces, a "kaizen blitz" is synonymous with a concentrated effort to make quick changes that will help achieve a short-term goal.
